This was a report not for school but on my own time. I thought it would be cool to find out all the similarity's, differences, and just all about them. Because unless you actually look something up you don't know all about it, or it is very hard to find out.
From Smeagol to Gollum
You might be laughing and thinking what is Gavin doing. But I will tell you when I first watched the Unexpected Journey of The Hobbit on December, 27, 2012, in which the Gollum scene came up, I thought, “Oh, he is evil, he is one of the bad guys.” But as it came close to the end of the scene where Bilbo escapes Gollum’s presence, I saw sadness, anger, and discouragement all at the same time. Also after the scene I thought back to the entire segment with Gollum and I thought, “Gollum is not evil but he is not good.” It really confused me, so if you are wondering why I am writing this it is because I am confused.
There is not much information about Smeagol except for that he was a stoor hobbit. He was also infected by the ride in his throat, Gollum. Smeagol lived with the river folk and lived near the Gladden Fields. That is about all I know besides that he got a new name by the horrible swallowing noise that he makes in his throat.
